Christmas Mini’s

As promised, I am holding a mini session day on November 19th, 2011. The session will be Christmas themed. Think over-sized ornaments hanging from trees, vintage seating, red bench, a Christmas tree or 2 but if that is not what you are looking for, we can always move on over and just shoot in an open field! It’s your choice! I only have about 8 openings that day. Please, please, please get on the books if you are wanting Christmas pics. This is your last chance for the year! We will not take any new bookings until March 2012. I am so excited to be meeting new faces this season and seeing old ones. Get your Christmas outfits together and I’ll see you in a few weeks 
SESSION DETAILS INCLUDE:
~ $100.00 sitting fee
~ 5 – 7 proofs in a password protected gallery
~ special High Res. disk pricing $150
~ 15 – 20 min. session
~ 1 outfit
~ includes up to 4 people, each additional person $15
~ $200 minimum purchase order (strictly enforced unless buying the disk)

Braedyn is ONE!! How can it be?

I can’t believe this baby boy is 1 yr. old already! Where does time go?? I seriously could not have asked for a better ONE year old child this day in the Louisiana heat and an annoying hound dog that seriously would NOT leave us alone!! Most of the time, the 1 yr old’s give me the workout! Not this time, it was a stray dog! Ahhh… Luckily that didn’t stop this little ham. My oh my, isn’t he cute??

Beginning the 2nd week of November if you book a standard or contemporary session you will recive $50 off you sitting fee and a FREE 8×10 with your purchase! This special will run until November 30, 2011. 1 Saturday and 2 Sunday appt’s is all I have available at the moment. Get to booking!!

**Mini Session Announcement**

September 17th & 18th
$150.00 – 5 – 7 images edited on a disc.
The 1st mini session will be held on the weekend of Sept. 17th and 18th. Each session will be 20 mins. (max). The sessions will begin at 4:20 in the afternoon. Details will be emailed upon reciept of your payment. Payment is due in full to hold your spot.

I have temporarily closed down my galleries to update them. I should have those up again by the end of the month in case you are wondering and are new to the blog Yes, I use those emoticons entirely too much but I just can’t help myself 
Oops!
Also, I am working on re-working my pricing details. No worries this will not go into effect until September 2011. More than 1/2 of my clients choose my CD option (which does saves $$ in the long run) so I would like to offer more digital collection options. That’s all!! It is modern times you know What do y’all think?
Another thing I would like to get out there, I am not a traditional newborn/3 month baby photographer. I’m not big on studio pics. for myself or my style. I like a more modern/different/even earthier (is that a word?) style. I typically do indoor pics. at your home (or mine) with a few setups and hopefully some outside but I don’t have a ton of backdrops, etc. b/c in all honesty it’s just not my style. Every photographer has their own unique style and hopefully by looking at this blog (and my galleries when they are up!) you will get a sense of my style. If you are wanting more traditional, studio (several backdrops) shots of your newborn then I have a friend I can reccomend you too. It’s her style! If you decide to book me, know that you will get a more unique/edgier feel to your newborn/baby pics. I do have some basic shots that I do and you will see that on here throughout but I get uncomfortable when I feel like I am trying to be something I’m not. Anybody out there feel me? I feel like I struggle with newborns the most because I am trying to please people instead of really going with my style.
Ok, so now that I’ve put that out there….I’m better now.
AND b/c we can’t have a blog post without a pic. look what I’m working on. OH she’s precious!

I think you do a wonderful job. Henslee’s pic’ were wonderful because they were not the back drop thing. I love all her newborn pics! YOur unique style is why we choose you!LOVE your work!!

I love sunny days & warm weather. Today was the perfect day, perfect weather. Kids are outside playing & laughing. I just want to freeze time for a little while longer. Thankyou God for this beautiful day and my healthy children. They are the greatest blessing!

I love this sweet face! She really likes me too If I could have just talked her mommy and daddy into letting me keep her, she would have fit right in!! Miss C was such a JOY to photograph. I really had hard time narrowing down the pics. I mean, can’t you tell?? This family is so precious. I love them

We love you, Ashley! I know I say thank you A LOT, but I can’t help it!! Braedyn does SO good with you even when he’s not in the best of moods and not EVERYBODY can be like that with kids (especially mine 
lol).
We think he is cute!!!! But of course, we are his grandparents!! But he is so adorable!!
